Hmm there is no ultimate vanquisher build. By the looks of it your are using a discord team with a crappy build on yourself and the other 4 heroes aren't bad but I doubt that they are optimum.
First to asnwer you directly:
http://www.gwpvx.com/PvX_wiki
Secondly, yes the roaring ethers are a pain if you use the wrong tactic. The right tactic would be to spread out heroes using your flags. Then slowly pull the foes one group at a time and take your time. By spreading out the heroes, one or two may die cause of the blast the ethers and the djinn's make. but the rest can take the time to kill them off.
Last of all, bring a good amount of dp-removal (honeycumbs work the best) and you should be fine.

My tactic, as a warrior, is to run in front and let them eSurge my like a mad man - with only 20e they dont really deal that much damage.
Panic will also keep them down very effeciently

As a ranger, just take Barrage, triple shot and Save Yourselves. Give a rit hero Splinter Weapon and the rest of your team can be whatever you want.

Like Ashes said, I usually sick my melee guy on the group and let him eat all the esurges and mistrust he can get, then come in with my posse.
I use these builds (i'm also a ranger) to VQ. I've never had any issues. These templates were taken from various builds on PvX
My Build:
Necrosis Ranger (Me): OgQSc5MT3gOGnSHGvlPGyluG
The idea is to fuel necrosis as much as possible. Between hunter's mark and Asuran Scan or pain Inverter, you can be guaranteed that there's a condition or hex (not to mention all the hexers in your heroes). Marksman's Wager is a bit of a crutch normally, but with Asuran scan, it's pretty well a sure thing. You can sub the sundering attacks with whatever floats your boat. I just mash on them when they're up, since with expertise, it comes out as a positive energy gain, so you can fuel necrosis and pain inverter. This build isn't really the best DPS. It's mostly meant to try to facilitate quickly dropping things that ate the hexes.
Minion/prot Nec (Livia): OANDUshvSLVVBKgbhVV3V1DBEA
Rit Healing Nec (Master of Whispers): OAhiYwhMZtN5INNONMVVxJexAA
ST Rit (Xandra): OACjAyhDJPYTr3jLcCNtmFsLGA
ESurge Mez (Razah): OQlkAgC8AaezJY6Z6yBEhMwyfHD
Inept Mez (Gwen): OQhkAoB8AGK0LwKACYeGJQGwI0FD
Panic Mez (Norgu): OQZDAqwDK0w0nDDhFoBZAyA
Then you're left with 1 free slot. Generally I prefer having a melee unit so I can send him in to do things (like eat e-surges). If you're in areas with a lot of hexes/conditions or undead, I swap to the RoJ monk. In some cases (like shards of orr) I drop the panic mez and put in a second RoJ monk.
VoS Dervish (M.O.X.): Ogek8Jp8qyiDu7bPghui7u9428C
RoJ Smiter (Ogden): OwUTMQHD1xnhXp+ukMARw6X9BA
This is for me at least. You're welcome to try it.
Edit: Oh, sometimes if I'm in an area with a lot of pressure the last slot goes to a backup healer with an SS Necro (Olias): OAhjYgHaIP5B7QVl4JNHnDzLGA

Yep. For those guys best tactic is to Prot Spirit up some poor sucker and send him in first. Then pile in once he's eaten up their E-Surges, and it's easy from there on out.

Basically there are 4 "ultimate" hero teams.
AP-Caller spike with mesmers + SoS/MM and SoGM or ST depending on zone (usually sogm) with mes / nec / rit primary.
AP-Caller spike with elementalists + SoS/MM and SoGM or ST depending on zone (usually sogm) with ele primary.
Balanced meleeways with 1 or 2 smite monks + SoS/MM and SoGM or ST depending on zone (usually sogm) suited for high damage melee builds (R/A dagger spam, A/Any dagger spam, Pious Derv and similar)
RoJ-Heroways and other melee spikes, not necessarily using SoGM or MM. (Suited for high spike melee builds and highly experienced players.

For heroes, I like running 3 Discord heroes, SoS and SoGM rits, Panic mes, and Ele Attunement fire ele.

A 70-90% uptime party ims is almost a necessity for 6+ zones. Moving around the map between encounters can often account for almost half the time taken to vq.

I just go with 3 rits (im the SoS...an ST and SoGM), 2 mes (panic, inept/psych), 2 nec (minion bomber, SS) and 1 monk (LoD, WoH, whatever..with Dwaynas Sorrow). Have no problems with any vanq, anywhere...and im not a stickler for perfectly synergized team builds like some others...and i have a habit of always flagging, pulling and using high ground and angles to my advantage.

Check gwpvx, I heard they have builds there...
No need for an ultimate build, just use what you find fun. I have used a paragon based team, I have used assassin and dervish heroes with dual cast elementalists, and it all works without much trouble.
When I'm lazy and don't want to overthink stuff I take:
sos/restore hero
st shelter/restore hero
panic or esurge mesmer
illusion mesmer
mm with PS/Aegis
The rest are fillers, who should be there to deal some damage
If you still die after getting the builds right, try to use flags and pulling with a longbow in order to not overaggro.

ST rit and Panic mesmer makes this group a joke now :P It sucked with only Sabway, had to use prot spirit like people have already noted. The Roaring Ethers will ball easily on the pillar approaching from the right wall.

The best vanquisher team is 8x AP players. Have fun trying to set it up.
